		<description>After this article was published, a nice person at the Athenæum dropped me a polite note saying &quot;you mention that laptops aren’t allowed in the first floor reading room, which is true – but we are, in fact, wi-fi accessible throughout the building, and we encourage laptop use.&quot;  That&#039;s a good point that harkens to the fact that it’s an actual research library and, as such, a part of 21st century Boston.</description>
